How to Get Atlas 2024 Guide

Atlas is a fighter-themed Warframe, capable of taking enemies head-on while tanking and dealing damage at the same time. His fighting prowess allows him to use Landslide, causing him to dash up to enemies and pound them with his fists.

Atlas can use his ability to control the Earth, using his Tectonics ability to block enemies and even cast boulders at them.

With Atlas’ Petrify ability, he is capable of turning his enemies into stone, making them sitting ducks for to smash. His adept control of stone allows him to create Rumblers, rock golems who fight alongside him as he pulverizes his foes. This Warframe makes a great melee fighter and is capable of standing against several enemies on his own.

The Jordas Precept and Farming Atlas Parts

The Jordas Precept is a mission where you have been contacted by a Cephalon who needs your help in eradicating an infestation. Things turn out to change real soon as you begin to help the Cephalon out, as the infestation continues to overgrow beyond expectations.

Contact The Stranded Cephalon

The quest begins with a Cephalon named Jordas calling out for help using a distress signal. Ordis is convinced to help and Jordas mentions something about fossilized Warframe parts AKA Atlas. You will be instructed to gather Pherliac Pods next.

Harvest Pherliac Pods from Juggernauts

Your task is to find Pherliac Pods, which can drop when you kill a Juggernaut. You can find Juggernauts on most missions that are in areas controlled by the infested. When a Juggernaut has been detected, you will need to continue killing infested until it appears and you kill it for its Pherliac Pod Blueprint. You will need to craft the Pherliac Pods (1 Chitinous Husk, 1 Infected Palpators, 1 Pulsating Tubercles, and 1 Severed Bile Sac).

Test Pherliac Pods on Infested

Your next quest will be to equip the Pherliac Pods that you have crafted into your gear and head to Isos on Eris to test out the Pherliac Pods.

Craft Potent Pherliac Pods in Foundry

Successful testing will result in you receiving a message from Cephalon Jordas, which includes the blueprint for Potent Pherliac Pods. Once you have crafted these new pods, you will need to bring them to Cephalon Jordas.

Assassinate the Golem

As you head to Cephalon Jordas, things start to seem weird and you will encounter a Juggernaut Behemoth. It appears Cephalon Jordas is no longer in control and after defeating the Juggernaut Behemoth, you will need to escape, bringing you into Archwing mode. The Jordas Golem will appear and you will have to defeat it to complete the quest. After completion of the quest, you will receive the Atlas Blueprint.

How To Farm Atlas Parts

Once you have finished the quest and obtained the Atlas Blueprint, you can replay the Jordas Golem Assassination mission from Eris. Each time you complete the mission, you will be rewarded with one of Atlas’ parts.

Tips

  • Juggernauts are powerful infested enemies and take reduced damage but they do open up now and then, having a root coming out from an opening on its back.
  • The Jordas Golem is only vulnerable when shooting its thrusters, making it important to follow it and shoot but also evade enemies and its toxic trails.
  • Be sure to configure your Archwing before you start with the Assassination mission as you won’t be able to change it when you are in it.

Final Thoughts

Completing The Jordas Precept is quite easy but you will need an Archwing for the last part where you will be encountering the Jordas Golem. It is best to stay focused on clearing out any enemies and shift to firing at the thrusters of the Jordas Golem.

Atlas is one of the easiest Warframes to get as long as you have some work done on your Archwing, but without it, the Assassination mission may take longer than expected.

Atlas is quite the fighter when it comes to close-quarters combat and does a good job at supporting his team as well. Many builds allow you to take advantage of his abilities and utilize them in various situations. One of the best things about Atlas is his ability to deal with continuous landslides, clearing out enemies in an instant.

His other abilities are perfect for support and defensive strategy plays, allowing him to block enemies, summon minions and turn foes into stone.
