Nothing is more enticing to Grendel than a large group of enemies, as his battle cravings are the same for his enemies.
Grendel is a Warframe based on Gluttony, seeing his enemies as a feast before him, he destroys and devours those in his way.
This Warframe is great for those who love to rush into battle as well as buff their team, leading the way into battle while consuming and pulverizing enemies.
How to Get Grendel?
The main blueprint for Grendel can be purchased from the market for 35,000 Credits while his other parts can be obtained in Europa.
To obtain Grendel’s components in Europa, you will need their locators which are purchased from the Arbitration Honors at the Arbiters of Hexis at any relay. (25 each)

Using Locators To Find Grendel Components
You may already be familiar with Arbitrations, which reward Vitus Essence and these are needed to buy the locators for Grendel’s components.
There are 3 different locators, which are the following:
- Grendel Chassis Locator – Archaeo-Freighter (20-minute Survival)
- Grendel Neuroptics Locator – Icefields of Riddah (15-wave Defense)
- Grendel Systems Locator – Mine of Karishh (Excavation for 800 Cryotic)
Each of the component locators costs 25 Vitus Essence each, which adds to a total of 75 Vitus Essence needed in total.
After obtaining all of the components for Grendel, you can purchase his main blueprint from the market with Credits.
Grendel Prime
There is no Prime Variant of Grendel at the time being, but later on, in the future one may be created after the other Prime Warframes.
Tips
- You will need a total of 75 Vitus Essence, and these can be quite troublesome to get, so make sure you have a Warframe ready to handle the Arbitrations.
- Using the component locators in Europa will require that you are ready for a challenge, make sure to bring a strong Warframe.
Final Thoughts
Grendel is capable of swallowing enemies whole and storing them in his belly, providing certain buffs for him as he consumes his victims.
He can also continuously damage enemies within him and nourish his allies, providing them with buffs as the enemy inside him is being digested.
When he wishes, Grendel can puke out enemies in his gut, turning them into a projectile that deals Toxin damage.
His large form allows him to use his Pulverize ability, which makes him curl into a ball, knocking over enemies and slamming into them.
