Warframe Arca Plasmor 2024 Guide

As a pure element shotgun the Arca Plasmor deals massive radiation damage to your enemies. Able to blast through enemies like they were nothing and even stagger them constantly with the impact of every shot, this Corpus built plasma shotgun is one powerful weapon.

The drawback of this weapon is its slow fire rate and its large projectile that cannot register as headshots along with its low critical chance. With that said, this weapon still packs a punch and is a common favorite of players that like big guns.

Arca Plasmor Builds

1) Fire Rate Build

This build improves on the disadvantage of the Arca Plasmor when it comes to fire rate and reload speed. This is where Shotgun Spazz and Chilling Reload comes into effect by adding the much needed boost in those lacking areas and with a bonus of cold elemental damage from Chilling Reload.

Improving fire rate and reload speed can contribute to the overall damage potential of the weapon, making it ideal for dispatching tougher enemies quickly, even at higher level missions like the Steel Path or Sorties.

2) Critical Build

This build focuses on critical chance and critical damage to improve the DPS of the Arca Plasmor. Using Primed Ravage with Blunderbuss gives the weapon a great boost in both critical stats of the weapon.

You can’t really go wrong with critical builds but having this on the Arca Plasmor increases its damage potential significantly by taking advantage of its wide projectile.

3) Status Chance & Punch Through Build

This build is very versatile by raising the status chance of the Arca Plasmor over 100% ensures that all of your equipped elemental mods inflict their effects onto your enemies with every shot, stacking their effects for maximum effectiveness.

It is quite easy to get all four of the 60/60 mods on earlier ranks letting you customize and set up any specific combination of elements for any mission whatever the enemy might be.

Punch through makes sure that your shots hit every enemy in front of you before dissipating and provides a way for your shots to penetrate solid objects to shoot at enemies hiding behind cover, making this build also ammo efficient.

4) Radiation Build

Radiation build focuses on the innate element of Arca Plasmor radiation and maximizing it with electricity and heat mods. This build improves this weapon to be more effective against its creators, the Corpus by disrupting and confusing them and easily breaking their shield bubbles due to the Innate impact status of every shot.

Radiation works best against the Corpus faction due to their dependence on machines and robots this build can turn those attack bots into broken heaps of metal once you fire your plasma shots at them, due to the weakness of robotics against radiation.

5) Hybrid Damage

With the Arca Plasmors base stats and adding two 60/60 elemental mods with Blunderbuss and Ravage mods, it can provide the weapon with an above average critical and status chance that can easily deal with most enemies even at higher tier missions.

Using 90% mods is not necessary to this build and can be replaced with 60/60 mods, although using the 90% mods these bumps up the overall damage quite a bit to inflict maximum damage to your enemies.

Also, as an alternative to this build using corrosive and blast element combination with this setup provides 3 elements instead of just 2, since the innate radiation element of the weapon does not change.

Riven Mods

Core Riven Stats

The Arca Plasmor has a huge projectile that passes through enemies but not through solid objects, so going for any damage boosting stats would be the way to go when taking advantage of the innate ability of the weapon.

A good Riven stat for the Arca Plasmor would be multishot to increase its projectile count, dealing an increased amount of damage and more chances for critical chance and status chance to kick in.

Top Tier

These are the best possible stats for the Arca Plasmor Riven in order of priority.

  • Multishot
  • Damage
  • Elemental Damage
  • Harmless Negative

High Tier

These are the highest possible stats that the Arca Plasmor Riven will have.

  • Multishot
  • Elemental Damage
  • Harmless negative

Acceptable Negative Stats

  • Negative impact, puncture and slash works perfectly with the weapon since the Arca Plasmor doesn’t have any IPS to begin with making this negative null.
  • Positive Recoil is also great negative to see for the Arca Plasmor Riven since it doesn’t affect the weapon much when it comes to accuracy.

Bad Negative Stats

  • Negative flight speed will significantly decrease fall off range making your Arca Plasmor shots feel like burps rather than blasts of damage.
  • Negative fire rate is problematic for this weapon since it already has a slow fire rate lowing its DPS significantly.
  • Negative magazine size is bad also since the weapon already has a small magazine as it is.
  • Negative reload will only prolong the very long reload times of the Arca Plasmor.
  • Negative faction is ok but for higher level missions like in the steel path or sorties this will certainly be a problem.

Useless Positive stats

  • Positive impact, puncture or slash are bad since they will do nothing for the weapon wasting a stat block in the riven.
  • Positive faction is ok to have but if we will be talking about a specific faction it would be preferred to have positive Grineer damage compared to other factions but overall there are other better possible options to have as a Riven stat.

Final Thoughts

The Arca Plasmor is a one of the often used big guns in the game with its massive projectile that goes through groups of enemies, simply just shooting a round inside a small room can pretty much clear it of enemies, sensors and resource crates.

Users of the Arca Plasmor prefer this weapon due to the BFG-like themes of the weapon. This appeals to those players that like big guns, big damage and big projectiles that absolutely wreck enemies. with little to no effort which is the opposite of the game’s themes, it certainly adds a level of fun for those who prefer guns blazing over stealth.
